When Mother Nature loosens her winter grip on the North Country and everything begins to thaw, one of the region’s most popular destination spots holds an annual event that whets the appetite with some fresh culinary ideas.
Once again the Adirondack Festival of Food & Wine will take place at the Mirror Lake Inn from March 26-29. And while the event draws in people from all points on the globe, this year’s event will spotlight not only local food, but some local talent as well.
According to Mirror Lake Inn Executive Chef Greg Michaud, this year, a local connection will be highlighted. Local chefs have been invited to take part, and local foods will be featured, whenever possible.
